Using Salary Registers in ERPNext

A Salary Register is a report that displays the salary compensation of employees together with each salary components for a given date range. It is used to check if the amounts that will be received by the employees are correct. Furthermore, it is also used in accounting purposes.

In order to generate Salary Registers, there must be Payroll Entries that are created. Either Draft or Submitted.

To access the Salary Register:

1. Login to ERPNext.

2. Go to Human Resources. Under Payroll, click Salary Register.

3. Enter the parameters:

    • Date Range

    • Employee Name'

    • Company

    • Payroll Entry Status

4. Salary Register can be exported. Simply click Menu>Export.
