Using a Profitability Analysis report allows you to check if you will gain profit for a project or cost center.

This report computes the Net between a project or cost center's income and expense.

To generate this report, follow these:

1. Login to ERPNext

2. Go to Accounting. Under Profitability section, click Profitability Analysis.

3. On the header, select the Fiscal year and Entity (Cost center or Project) of the data you want displayed.

4. The report will list the break down of Income and Expense by clicking on the Cost Center name. This will lead you to the Profit and Loss Statement report.

5. You may export the report in Excel by going to Menu and clicking Export.
