Email Templates is a standard format of an email. In ERPNext, you can define email templates for Introduction, Notification, Replies and etch. Furthermore, these email templates can be used in campaigns.

To Create an Email Template

  1. Login to ERPNext
  2. Go to Settings. Under Email, click Email Template.
  3. On the Template list, click “New”.
  4. Enter a name for this Email Template.
  5. Enter a Subject for this Email Template.
  6. Response is the standard content of the email that will be a part of this template. (If intended recipient is a contact, you may add it's first name by adding {{doc.first_name}}).

7. Click Save.

8. These Email Templates can now be used in Campaigns.

To Create a Campaign

  1. Login to ERPNext.
  2. Go to CRM. Under Settings, click Campaign.
  3. On the Campaign list, click “New”.
  4. Enter the Name and Description of the Campaign.
  5. On the Campaign Schedule section, add the Email Templates to be sent by clicking the “Add Row” button.
  6. On the “Send After day(s)” column, enter the timing when the Email Templates will be sent out. Multiple Email Templates can be added.

7. Click “Save” to apply the changes. This Campaign template can now be scheduled for sending as Email Campaigns.
